NEW PRESIDENT AND NEW BOARD FOR PEARLE
At its 41st General Assembly which took place on 19 and 20 May in Budapest the members of Pearle elected unanimously a new President and a new board.The President and the members are elected for a period of 2 years, which means until spring 2013, when new elections will take place.
The composition of the Executive Committee is based upon a geographical criterion where one delegate represents one particular geographical area in Europe as follows: a representative for each of the three big countries (France, Germany, UK) and a representative of each of the regions representing the Northern countries, the New Member states of the EU, the Southern countries and the small countries.
The Executive Committee 2011-2013 is as follows:
