Pearle welcomes the initiative from the Commission proposing two council directives introducing a system of blue card for highly qualified workers and a single application procedure (one-stop-shop). However Pearle has serious remarks to the proposals, in particular with regard to the definition of highly qualified and the conditions. These are ill-adapted to the functioning of the sector live performance.
