Comments of Pearle on Commission consultation "concerning action at EU level to promote the active inclusion of the people furthest from the labour marketî
Pearle* believes that the role of the EU is to further encourage Member States to put the issue of social inclusion on the priority list of policy measures in the field of social and employment affairs. Pearle* is convinced that the current existing EU programmes, ESF and EQUAL, are satisfying tools which are established to support the social cohesion in Europe. Pearle* would like to encourage the Commission to further promote these programmes in the Member States and the different sectors as listed by the European Commission.
