Santé et sécurité au travail - bruit
The European Commission, has drafted a "non-binding guide to good practice for the implementation of Directive 2003/10/EC on the minimum health and safety requirements regarding the exposure of workers to the risks arising from physical agents (noise)". Chapter 8 of the guide is dedicated to measures on reducing risk of exposure to noise in the live performance sector. The draft was finalised mid-June 2006. After adoption by the different Commission DGs involved, the guide will be published and disseminated. Adoption of the guide is not expected before the end of December 2006.

This note explains how different interest parties should seek to cooperate so that content providers can continue to generate growth. Culture content is indispensable to let the markets for informationtechnology flourish. the radio spectrum policy programme needs to take account of this and provide a frame that guarantees that live events can further continue their operations.
Future use of wireless microphones and radio spectrum for live performance
At a workshop on 26 October 2010 on "A long term approach to radio spectrum for PMSEs in Europe", Pearle intervened in a panel on "Potential benefits of coordinated spectrum for PMSEs". rnThe Live performance needs: - sufficient spectrum to continue our operations - that spectrum is coordinated in a harmonious cross border manner between member states - that allocated spectrum is protected (interference is to be avoided)- access to spectrum at an affordable cost
