Proposal for amendments to report on cultural industries
26.11.2007
Pearle* supports the proposals made in the report, against the background of the Communication on a European agenda for culture in a globalising world, whereby special attention is paid to one of the objectives in the Communication.
Representing those responsible for the ‘creation’ of art and culture, Pearle* believes that it is necessary to take account of cultural industries in all their aspects and diversity, thereby avoiding focusing too much on one particular sector within the cultural industries. Therefore Pearle* suggests a number of amendments to the draft report.
